This unique administrative tablet is said to have been found in southern Iraq at Drehem, ancient Puzrish-Dagan. It is published here with the kind permission of Phillips University which obtained it from the collection of Edgar Banks. While the date is no longer readable, its contents identify the tablet as an inventory of goods belonging to members of the household of Shulgi. Shulgi, one of the most famous Mesopotamian rulers, reigned as the second king of the Ur III dynasty, about 2100 BCE.
