Apply to the History for Teachers certificate program through a central application. A $55 application fee is required.

Admission requirements
To gain admission for the History for Teachers certificate program, you must meet the requirements below:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Hold a teaching certificate in history or social studies issued by a US state or territory or approval of the Graduate Director.

International students
If you are an international student, you are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. This requirement can be satisfied by submitting proof of a Test of English as a Foreign Language score of 550. Please visit International Student Services for more information.
