Scholarships and Financial Aid
Helping you achieve excellence
The department of history at Missouri State offers its students numerous scholarship opportunities to help cover the cost of tuition and other education-related expenses. To apply for scholarships offered by the department of history, you must complete the MSU Annual Scholarship Application preferably by March 1. If a scholarship requires proof of financial need, you need to complete the Federal Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) by February 15.
Typically, recipients of the awards will be notified prior to the end of the spring semester. Therefore, your scholarship will apply to the following academic year. As a scholarship recipient, you are asked to write a thank-you letter to the scholarship committee that selected you for the award.
